A real name for the "MM KT sub"

First topic message reminder :

Ok, so, first of all, I made this Thread to ask opinions of other PSers concerning on what's their opinion about the MM KT sub's name. For some, this Thread is actually nonsense but I think, we should give our Philippine mod a better name. Please give opinions, and later on, I will make a Poll for this Thread. If you think this Thread is unnecessary, go ahead and feel free to post whatever you want.

For example: LH KT
Reason: Because most parts of the Pen is made up of Lil' Hands Marker. That's why it's called "LH" (LIl' Hands)

the black one was named bonkura kt because, he found it first that dr grip grips are also great to be used in a dr kt.. ^__^

kasi un talaga ang purpose ko kaya ko ginawa itong mod na ito
now I had my own black bonkura kt sub I'll release the tut soon kung ok lang sa inyo
second syempre para sa ating mga pinoy ito kaya ko ginawa ito kasi maraming hindi makaafford bumili ng bonkura kt.
uhhm napangalanan na din pala ito noon LH KT ata.

dude just so you know nde ko kineclaim tong mod mo. hahah it's all yours. nagsuggest lang ako ng mas mgndang name that's all. and about the tutorial i made, binago ko lang un parts para mging mas accessible for people in my area. if naoffend kita in any way, IM REALLY SORRY. :P

the name of the mod depends on the pens used in it..
mark's version: pilot g2 ex + Lil hands = g2LH-ex?

this is the big misconception for every modder..if you got a mod with a bad name(name after it's parts)..im not actually saying that all named derived from the pen used are bad..if it doesn't sounds good..then don't..because..the impression on your mod.(even they haven't seen it) will depends on the name..if you posted like this.."I just made my damg mx" - then..i will start to think this things "WTF!! is that mod..DAMG MX o.0!? basically..its just an mx variation.." then they will start to lost interest on your mod..what about name it after you!.. some example of famous mods are named after their creator..

saizen mod
key3 mod
kuzu mod
seven mod
firefly mod
baaron dc mod

and many others..

with this name..if im the reader..i will be curious on how's that mod named after him looks o.0?..

and also modding is not easy as you think..if you try to mod a pen without formal knowledge about it it will look crappy and ruined!.. an example is when chrisps post his self mods in the upsb soyp..i just can't comment about it :P forgive me chris :P ...i can help all of you to mod as i do ^_^. if you want my modding style!..add me in ym pen_master@yahoo.com ask me what mod you want to do.. and i will try to help you.. ^_^ just be freindly when talking to me..if you're like clyde.. then i will bring you down

kung nakagawa kayo ng sarili nyong pen mod huwag kayong mag alala sa mga comments na ibibigay sa inyo.
hindi naman perpekto ang isang modder para makagawa agad ng NAPAKAperpektong mod.
at yan din ang kailangan para mas makaisip ang isang modder na makagawa ulit ng isang mod na mas maayos at mas maganda pa sa una niyang nagawa. nag umpisa ang mga magagaling na modder sa isang simpleng mod, kailangan lang ng mga advice o mga komento para matulungan ang isang modder na makagawa ng isang mod. hindi natin kailangang laitin ang kanilang gawa dahil hindi naman tayo ang gumawa nito kundi sila. kung mas magaling mag mod, huwag maging makasarili pwede namang tumulong sa mga baguhan.
sa pagbibigay naman ng pangalan, ung modder na ang bahalang magdesisyon kung ano ang ibibigay niyang pangalan dahil gawa niya iyon, kagaya nga ng sinabi ko hindi tayo pwedeng magdesisyon kung anong pangalan ang nararapat kung hindi naman tayo ang gumawa nito.
hindi na natin kailangan magtalo para lang sa pagbibigay ng pangalan, hayaan na lang natin ang orihinal na modder ang magdesisyon. pero magiging tulong na rin ito para sa ibang mga modder lalo na sa mga baguhan. maraming salamat!

i agree with what you said!...this thing are indeed true..but sometimes a great modder doesn't only rely on comments.. they also based their mods on what they see...(other mods that might inspired them) ^_^..


I will tell on where and how i based my mods..it might helped you to improve your skill and might not..


well..basically, you have to consider 4 factors before starting to modify your pen..

1. The output!
before you modify, you should have a finished output already in your mind..so you can make it the way you want it too..It is not the final output yet..its some sort of scratch..
2. The Stats!
think of how to obtained your desirable statistics of your penmod..by adding tips and grips into proper place ^^
3. Resourcefulness!
you also have to be resourceful on your materials...on what pen/material will you use..will it look good to the mod??..will it fits perfectly?? (This stage is Full of "TRIAL and ERROR" ) just be patient ..and keep on experimenting! ^_^
4. Professionalism..(Optional) ^_^
a. my secret is this one above ^_^.. I will not be in hurry to make my mods.. usually it takes me 2-4 days to finish it ^_^ (4 days is when i do a gripcut ^_^)
b. just be patient when you mod..make it slowly but surely! ^_^
c. to avoid errors and mistakes..rationalize everything...What if i did this, this way?? or would it'd be better to do it this way??


and lastly..be proud on what have you done ^_^

1st of all, this can't be called Joooob KT just because jooooob made the tutorial, it was johnrey/mark/kira who created this mod.

2nd, why was it called "M&M KT sub", the pen bonkura uses is called a "bonkura KT(black w/ kt body)/MM(white)/CT(all black)", or the official name, Dr. M&M/CT/KT. M&M KT is just plain redundant and wrong, since it's going to be "Miffy & Melanie Keityo" in which you don't use a KT, just use an M&M, yet you call it M&M KT.
