It doesn't fly off. Its stuck on there becuase of the Masking tape. hehe!

he means place the HGG tip on the G3 tip like Ice Cream cones when inside the boxes.

EDIT: wrap some double sided tape on the HGG tip then stick the G3 tip on it.

great mod, but i can't get most of the supplies listed for the mod here in the states.

Nice tutorial. Although, I'd rather use a normal MX for simplicity reasons.

Not stable. I tried this before, the comssa cap always falls off. Err, you know I like spinning fast with heavy pens.

Right, because of the HGG. That's okay. You don't need to use the same tips I did.

True, aries. the normal MX is simple. But I made this because when tried it out (when it was still a prototype and not yet cop/cog) iT HAD KILLER momentum. Just ask chobi and yanos. They tried it already. SO i posted a tutorial.

2 comssa caps, 1 comssa body, 2 dr. grip grip & tips = this mod? no way. It can't be near it's weight.

I said "about the same weight". So its AROUND or NEAR the weight of the Dr. Comssa. So its close, I never said EXACTLY THE SAME WEIGHT.

Can't be about because this isn't enough to be near / about the same weight =/ idk idc nice pen anyway

Update on the riverboy reversed MX.

You may use a signo or impact tip instead, of the Hgg tip over G3 tip.

Also, you may just attach the comssa cap, with the super grip, and the signo or impact tip at the back of the rsvp, instead of putting another grip on the writing part.

Double sided tape is more advisable than masking tape for stronger hold.


This "Lighter" version of the Riverboy Reversed MX, has the same momentum. with lighter weight, and shorter length.

I have this and here's my written review about this:

Spinnability: 5/5
Spins really well. 'nuff said.

Weight: 4/5
IMO it's almost equal to an Ayatori.

Length: 5/5
I like long pens.

Feel: 3/5
I don't really like the feel of this mod, especially the transition from RSVP body to Comssa cap, so what I did to mine is replace the RSVP back cap to a Signo 207 Tip, and covered the remaining silver part with some random grip.

Looks: 2/5
Sorry, but, i don't really like the looks of this, which is why i changed the front Super Grip to a Needlepoint grip, and changed the back Super Grip parts to 2 Anyball sections, and replaced the RSVP grip in the back to a white HGG grip. Turned out pretty sexy.

Overall: 3.8/5
