Official Weekly Mini-Combo Contest

ATTENTION TO ALL PPSC MEMBERS: The PPSC staff has decided to spice things up, by creating the Weekly Mini-Combo Contest.

ALL PPSC MEMBERS ARE ALLOWED TO JOIN

MECHANICS:
every week we would randomly pick 5 to 10 tricks. (contains majority of the tricks we know)
these 5 to 10 tricks would then be introduced to the spinners in order for them to create a combo out of it.
the players would then have to link these said tricks in any way they want without breaking any of these rules.


1.) the tricks drawn from the raffle should be the only ones used in the combo. no more.

2.) if the spinner uses trick/s not included in the draw, he/she would be disqualified for the week.

3.) it's up to you in what order you want to execute the given tricks.

4.) repeated tricks are allowed, but repeating tricks would lead to SPAM and would eventually lead to decrease of score.

5.)PASSES (normal/reverse), SPINS, CONTS (continuous), AERIALS and STALLS are the only "special tricks" you can insert in any of your combos. Any other trick or variation would mean DQ.

6.) the trick CAN be executed in any finger slot.

7.) if you're finding it hard to pull off a few of the given tricks, it's okay to leave it behind. BUT, a certain score from your averaged total would be deducted. NO EXCEPTIONS.

8.) a spinner can only submit ONE video clip.


ENTRY:

the video clip for the competition should be posted on youtube within 5 days after the release of tricks.
the video clip MUST contain:

-name of the spinner (username here on PPSC)
-the breakdown of the combo
-any miscellaneous tricks/stunts/exhibitions done in the combo

VIDEOS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED THROUGH YOUTUBE WITHIN 5 DAYS AFTER THE RELEASE OF THE TRICKS.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE RULES MEANS AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION.

JUDGING:

we basically let the spinners vote their opponents. to make it simple we allow them to use the scale of 1-10
please consider the following when scoring someone:

smoothness
creativity
use of given tricks (if complete or not)
linkages
aesthetic appeal

for example:
the competitors are

jep
penmaster
jooooob
patrick
krouls


so if we were to vote, here's how it goes.

the "_______________________" makes room for a short explanation. just a simple phrase or sentence to further explain the given judgement. if the explanation doesnt really support the given score, we as mods/admins could give warnings to those contestants.

this way we won't have to worry about people being bias. all we have to do is to average out the given scores. and that's it.


FAILURE TO SUBMIT A SCORE SHEET LIKE THE ONE ABOVE WOULD MEAN AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION. (come on guys, all you have to do is vote.as mods/admins of this forum, this is as fair as we can get.)


REWARDS:

the much awaited rewards. here they are.


- remember we have "skill boxes" below our names and pictures? the red ones? we're gonna make use of that.
the winner of the week would get FREE SKILL BOXES. you can request the admins to place them where ever you want.

BTW GUYS MAJOR UPDATE:

check the rules, i added "PASSES (normal/reverse)" into the special tricks category. which means you can insert them in your combos without violating any rule.


i noticed that there are limited links that can be made without the use of passes. so there you go. goodluck!
